Introducing a world tour unlike any other! Get Back is a full-length motion picture feature focusing on the remarkable return of ex-Beatle Paul McCartney. Having spent thirteen years producing studio albums, Paul felt it was time to hit the road and announced his Get Back world tour.
The feature shows many highlights, such as various music hits from Paul’s career, including Let it Be, Live and Let Die, Yesterday, Can’t Buy Me Love, and many more great songs. There are many fun musical items and talented on-stage guests who appear throughout. Naturally, this feature is heavily focused on the tour aspect, and viewers will also be treated to some of the horseplay and fun that occurred throughout the journey. For those who are only here for the music, the track list is as follows:
- Band on the Run
- Got to Get You Into My Life

Overall, while I don’t usually review world tours or rock concerts as a movie lover, I can’t deny there’s something special about Paul McCartney’s Get Back that’s worth sharing. Audio and visual buffs will certainly be pleased by this release. The Blu-ray shows impressive audio and visual results considering the tour was from 1989 to 1990. This is an excellent feature for lovers of The Beatles and rock music and is a great release packed with plenty of music and fun. I loved reliving the many great songs I know will never die, instead living on for many generations. Paul McCartney’s Get (1991) is Now Available on Blu-ray & DVD from Via Vision Entertainment.
